今月誕生日を迎えた師匠に、御家元からの米寿のお祝いを渡してきました。元気そうな姿を見られて嬉しかったです。
I went to see my master with an old fellow student. He hadn’t seen her for about 20 years.
This month was her birthday, so we gave her a gift to celebrate her 88th birthday from the headmaster of Ikenobo. I was really happy to see her looking well.
