当教室の講師、井上太市がMUTEKという電子音楽とデジタルアートの祭典でビジュアルアーテストの松山周平さんと協業しました。「紅葉狩り」をテーマに、日本的な美観を表現しました。
I collaborated with visual artist Shuhei Matsuyama at MUTEK, a festival of electronic music and digital art. We expressed a Japanese sense of beauty with the theme of “viewing autumn leaves.”
紅葉狩り（Momijigari）
本作は、日本古来の風習である「紅葉狩り」を現代的ないけばなインスタレーションとして再構築した作品です。自然現象を愛でる行為に宿る「無常観」や「もののあれ」といった日本的な哲学・美意識を根底にえ、観る者が言葉を介さずにそれらを感じ取る体験を目指します。
This work reinterprets the traditional Japanese custom of “Momijigari” (autumn leaf viewing) as a contemporary ikebana installation. Rooted in the Japanese philosophical and aesthetic sensibilities of Mujökan (impermanence) and Mono no aware (the pathos of things), it seeks to evoke an emotional and contemplative experience beyond words. Through the act of appreciating natural transformation, the installation invites viewers to perceive the transient beauty and quiet depth that have long shaped japan’s artistic spirit.
